About Us
Preschool and Montessori (3 – 5 years)
Our fun curriculum incorporates Aistear -The Early Childhood Curriculum Framework and Montessori Pedagogy. We recognise that the preschool years of 3-5 are especially important and lay the foundations of your child’s learning for life and not just primary school. At this stage we introduce the Montessori method of teaching. Your child is introduced to the fundamentals of practical life, sensorial, geometry, maths, language, science, geography, culture and diversity, arts & crafts, movement & music, all the while in a fun, exciting, and colourful way. We embrace Maria Montessori`s philosophy that recognises each individual child’s potential. We ensure that children have the opportunity to explore, question, communicate and create in a fun and supportive environment that meets their individual needs.
Every child’s journey is unique and is recorded in a Learning Journal that is filled with paintings, collages, drawings and photographs of your child.
Every morning in the preschool and creche, experienced and positive pre-primary teachers offer your child a range of age-appropriate indoor and outdoor activities to engage and promote their development and independence.
Treating children as individuals, we delight in helping children develop emotionally, socially and physically in stimulating enabling environments with a rich curriculum delivered by caring staff who support the children warmly and sensitively to grow up as confident, inquisitive individuals who love learning.
Our Free ECCE and Montessori times are from 8.45 am to 11.45 am Monday to Friday with a break for snack at 10.00am.
We provide organic fruit and filtered water during the Ecce session.
Toddlers (2-3 years)
At this stage in your child’s life, they are prepared to engage in more structured activities, as well as enjoy free play and rest periods. We place a strong emphasis on nurturing their speech and language development. Our pre-primary educators support your child’s learning through various enjoyable and social activities, including singing, role-playing, and storytelling. We also concentrate on music, arts and crafts, color recognition, number familiarity, and entertaining messy play.
Moreover, we collaborate with parents to assist in potty training and maintain routines established at home. Your child’s primary caregiver will always be accessible to discuss any concerns or inquiries you may have. Please note that this Toddler group has a limit of six spots each year and is exclusively available to families seeking part-time or full-time childcare.
